EIMARace 2011 Chapter : Racing Sports Car Design Competition

EIMARace Chapter : Racing Sports Car Design Competition is a design competition between Malaysia Higher Institution where students will design, analyze, present the design and build replica car from their own design. Participating in this competition, student will follow closely the real life process that engineers in automotive based companies. i.e. sketching, technical drawing, calculating, modeling & analyzing. Highlight education through motorsports, EIMARace Chapter: Racing Sports Car Design Competition is a platform to expose student with design especially in automotive and motorsports field. Student will design their racing sports car with their own ideas and creativity following the rules that had been set by organizer.

Event will be held at at Malaysia International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC), Seri Kembangan on 22nd to 26th December in conjunction of Kuala Lumpur International Auto Festival 2011. Detail for event will be published on 11th October 2011.

This action taken to ensure quality of judgement for presentation session. This also to ensure the convenience of participants during the presentation.

Attention to all the participant teams who will join EIMARace 2011. Please send your registration attachments with your registration fee of RM 600 before 1st May 2011. Registration after 1st May 2011 will be charged at RM 700.

For MAM Competition License Application, Please send MAM Competitor License Application Form with Medical Examination Form with License application fee of RM 200 per driver before 1 June 2011.

EIMARace Mesra F1

EIMARace Mesra F1 will be held on April 9, 2011 is a friendly program between orphans and EIMARace secretariat.The program will be participate by EIMARace secretariat and 70 orphaned children from several welfare centers in the Klang Valley.Participants will be taken to watch the world's highest class racing, Formula 1 in live. This program is a collaboration between the EIMARace secretariat and the Malaysia Sports Industry, Ministry of Youth & Sports.

Such programs aimed several objectives. Among these is to provide opportunities for orphaned children to have experience watching Formula 1 live in circuit.Citing a speech from Program Director Dr. Aminuddin Bin Hj Abu, the program also seeks student to apply the considerate attitude, mutual respect and inculcate compassion in human to the disabled and the needy.

We are now trying to create a community to enable communication between the teams that have participated EIMARace, new teams who are interested to participate & organizer. Therefore, we have created a forum for discussing issues relating EIMARace.

This forum was an educational platform to the participants, particularly in the field of automotive, motorsport & race. Forum also work as the reference and a place to exchange ideas & new innovation related to construction of racing machine, whether chassis or engine.

EIMARace 2010 - Marshall Course

On 31 march 2010, Department of Mechanical Engineering have organized the Marshals Course at Dewan Kuliyah 7, UTM International Campus, Jalan Semarak, Kuala Lumpur. The course aims to provide early exposure to organize a race, especially safety & security to our marshals on duty in race. EIMARace is inter-institutional program that open to Public Higher Education Institute, Private Higher Education Institute, College, Polytechnics, & Technical Institutions that highlight education through motorsports. EIMARace is a platform for students to apply the theory they learn and improve their skills in the automotive sector in particular.

Participating in this challenge, students will create a prototype of a race car from ground base. Challenge inspires students to learn about physics, aerodynamics, design, manufacture, branding, graphics, sponsorship, marketing, leadership, team work, media skills and financial strategy, and implementing practical, imaginative, and competitive in exciting way other than the main objective of the event, exposure to motorsports.
